Salesforce Architect

Position Overview: The Salesforce Architect is a strategic role that involves leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. This individual will act as the technical leader and expert in Salesforce architecture, ensuring that solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with business objectives. The Salesforce Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance, drive best practices, and ensure the effective use of Salesforce capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture Design and Development:
   1. Design and architect Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
   1. Develop comprehensive Salesforce solutions and integrations with other systems.
   1. Create and maintain architectural documentation, including data models, integration diagrams, and solution designs.
2. Technical Leadership:
   1. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
   1. Ensure the alignment of Salesforce projects with the overall enterprise architecture.
   1. Mentor and coach junior Salesforce developers and administrators.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   1. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
   1. Partner with product owners, project managers, and other architects to deliver seamless and integrated solutions.
   1. Conduct requirement analysis and create technical specifications.
4. Innovation and Best Practices:
   1. Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
   1. Advocate for the adoption of new Salesforce features and functionalities.
   1. Establish and enforce coding standards, design principles, and best practices.
5. Quality Assurance:
   1. Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
   1. Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of Salesforce solutions.
   1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce implementations.
6. Integration and Data Management:
   1. Design and oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications.
   1. Manage data migration, data quality, and data governance within the Salesforce environment.
   1. Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in complex environments.
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture and integration.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with integration platforms and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.
• Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect required.
